    Projects

    Check out some of my projects, including published research on optical tweezers, the motility patterns of Stentor coeruleus, and the predictive capabilities of E. coli networks, as well as some projects that are just for fun :)

    The Stentor project isn't filled in yet, but I'll have more free time this summer, so check back in soon to see more.

    Physics

    KM Lab

    Various projects I've been working on in the lasers team of the KM Group at CU Boulder, including laser pulse characterization, building a microscope, and crystal metallization.

    Optical Tweezers

    I built an optical tweezers setup, predicted the force exerted on trapped beads, and measured the actual force.

    Stentor coeruleus

    Working with Dr. Janet Sheung’s research group, we removed the oral apparatus from single-celled organism Stentor coeruleus and analyzed cell motility using MATLAB.

    E. coli

    I wrote up a program in Python to simulate E. coli predicting chemical concentration in their environment, and then predicted other functions, including video data.

    Engineering & coding

    Chicken Robot

    I built a chicken robot to attack people. Circuit design, wiring, 3D printing, and programming via Arduino Editor.

    Dining Halls Traffic Predictor

    A MATLAB script that predicts the traffic at Claremont Colleges dining halls, incorporating user input, 3-dimensional data sets, and a series of visualizations.

    My first ever website made from scratch, using just HTML and CSS, to document a community mural at Scripps College.

    Blumfeld April Translation

    I translated the song April by German band Blumfeld into English, and created a set of illustrations to go with it.

    Newspaper Illustrations

    I made graphics and illustrations for The Student Life and The Scripps Voice.

    Senior Speech

    In my senior year of highschool, I gave a speech to the whole school to answer the question: Why all the chickens?

    Chicken Grad Cap

    I rapidly and viciously disassembled the graduation cap given to me by Scripps College in order to add a chicken.
